Hi there, my name is Adam and I'm the face behind Woodworking by Adam. I started my woodworking journey originally back in 2020 with the goal to build myself a custom computer desk out of pallet wood to save money. Saving money on that project didn't go as planned but I found a love for woodworking within the making of this project.

 

I started exploring woodworking more in 2021 while in grade 10 woodshop class. With the help of my instructor I gained more woodworking knowledge and started to grow my interest in woodworking even more. I started to increase my collection of tools in the summer of 2022 funded through my part time job. Throughout the next year I started to build a portfolio on Instagram. Once I noticed how large the community of woodworkers on Instagram was I chose to take woodworking more seriously. Designing myself a website to display a portfolio and later adding a shop to sell many of my various projects.

When I'm not in the garage or woodshop you can find me working on my downhill longboarding skills, snowboarding during the winter, playing paintball at my local fields or enjoying some video games with my friends.

I plan to continue woodworking after high school, I have applied for Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Craft and Design (Furniture). My dream is to be self employed working on high end one of a kind pieces made with love and care just like Blacktail Studio and Del Turco Woodworks.
